In ancient times, our ancestors have formed many principles and practices. There way of life was typically reliant upon their sentiments. Customs and practices were being practiced and passed on from generations to generations. Rituals and ceremonies were done and sentiments in gods which will help them with their method of living were present. It was what the gods say that folk follow so helping them predict their future. Apart from the gods, there are also symbolic features used in the past that we are able to even see today that makes a mark on the culture of our ancestors.

A bathe in the steamy tub, flanked by candles certainly appears like a good method to relax. But new research suggests that burning particular forms of candles may possibly create inside air pollutants.

Beyond colorants and essential or fragrance oils, there are many of cool things you can combine to your handmade soap. One of my most favorite is honey (which is a humectant), but there is also milk, glycerin, silk, shea butter, tomato paste, cocoa powder, fruit juice and pulp, flowers and dried herbs, finely chopped oatmeal, cornmeal (for an exfoliating bar), poppy seeds, finely ground coffee beans, beer and wine, berry seeds, citrus zest, yogurt, natural aloe-vera gel, Vitamin E capsule contents (2-3 per pound), seaweed, uncooked adzuki beans or almonds ground right into a fine powder, and embedded objects. In cold process soap making, whisk in these additives once you have blended to an appropriate trace. For liquids, add at a light trace. For anything you want suspended evenly throughout the bar (seeds, oatmeal), add at a heavy trace or else the additive will sink to the lower part.

You most likely had experimented in soap making back then at you college days at Chemistry class. Of course, you know that Chemistry is vital in it. Crude soap is the product of the basic hydrolysis of vegetables fats and animal oils producing this anionic surfactant and glycerol. Saponification is the term in producing soaps. The fats and oils are reacted to strong basic lye (either sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide) producing the crude soap.

Molds are painted by painting certain areas of the mold with a brush. Use a small brush for painting small fine points and a large brush for larger particulars. Melt various colors. Dip your brush into desired color and apply to an area of the mold. Continue to do this until desired areas are colored.

An interesting and useful hobby which everyone can try is soap making. Soap is used to wash our hands when we get dirty, or wash our bodies whenever we take a shower. Other uses can be for washing clothes or dishes. In general, it is mainly used for washing things. But soap can also be used as an ornament in the bathroom, kitchen or even bedroom. A beautifully made and crafted soap can be a great addition to any room you desire, or it can simply make bath time a lot more fun.

One of the weaknesses of much abstract painting is the attempt to substitute the inventions of the intellect for a pristine imaginative conception. The inner life of a human being is a vast and varied realm and does not concern itself alone with stimulating arrangements of color, form and design. The term ‘life’ as used in art is something not to be held in contempt, for it applies all of its existence, and the province of art is to react to it and not to shun it. Painting will have to deal more fully and less obliquely with life and nature’s phenomena before it can again be great.

My Grandfather used to knife whittle on his front porch in the evenings. As a small boy I remember watching him squint as the sun set over the mountains till finally it was too dark for him to see any longer and he would grumble and wander inside.
